I know it's not the right time to plant brussel sprouts but I found these at Home Depot a couple of days ago and couldn't resist trying them in the earth box. I love brussel sprouts and I have never been successful at growing them in our garden. Unfortunately for these once beautiful little plants, about five minutes after I got home I found them strewn across the back yard thanks to Tater, one of our labs. After muttering a few words I will not repeat here I salvaged what I could and planted them. Several of them are beat up pretty bad and i'm not sure they'll recover but I had to give them a chance.
Brody was not too happy about the broken brussel sprouts either.
