Devil's Millhopper

It's been a little while since i've put up new pictures. I'll work on that a little today.

We took the boys to Devil's Millhopper on saturday. http://www.floridastateparks.org/devilsmillhopper/ParkSummary.cfm Houston absolutely loved it and he walked all the way down and back up every single step all by himself! For those of you who don't know, Devil's Millhopper is a huge sinkhole in Gainesville that is thought to have formed many thousands of years ago. There are steps going all the way down to the bottom. It is such a neat thing to see. Unfortunately we forgot the camera but I did have my cellphone with me so I got to take some pictures. There are little waterfalls all down the sides of the sinkhole but the camera phone doesn't have the best resolution and I wasn't able to get any great shots of them.

This is Brett and Houston on the trail towards what they call the vertical part of the sinkhole. This area is actually the upper part of the sinkhole but you can't really tell in the picture.

And here they are on the way down ....

Steps, steps and more steps ....

Houston on his way down ....
